Terms you can finish.

The full terms for the Web Fortuners storefront and studio services: what you are buying, your duties as registrant, and how we handle scope, renewals, refunds and disputes.

Domain registration

Your duty is accuracy. Our duty is to act per ICANN policy.

Domains are registered in your name or the name of the person or entity you designate as the registrant. Web Fortuners is listed as the reseller of record, not as the owner, and we will identify the sponsoring registrar for any domain on request. We will not register domains in our own name and lease them back to you, and we will not hold a domain hostage if you choose to transfer it elsewhere.

You must provide accurate registrant contact information and keep it current. If any detail changes, update it within 7 days.

If we ask about the accuracy of your contact information and you do not answer within 15 days, that is a material breach and we may suspend or cancel the domain.

After registration or any material contact change, the registrar sends a verification email to the registrant address. If you do not verify within 15 days, the domain will be suspended.

You agree to submit to ICANN's Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP) and the Uniform Rapid Suspension (URS) procedure for disputes over your domain names.

You authorize Web Fortuners to act as your designated agent to approve changes of registrant for the purposes of ICANN's Transfer Policy.

A domain may be suspended, cancelled or transferred if required by ICANN policy, registry procedure or a court order, including to correct mistakes made by the registry or registrar.

You indemnify the sponsoring registrar and the relevant registry against claims arising from your registration or use of the domain, except where those claims are caused by their own misconduct or fraud.

Hosting, email and SSL

Use the service as intended. Abuse gets suspended.

Hosting, email and SSL services are provided for lawful business use. You may not use them to send spam, host malware, run phishing, distribute illegal content, or attack other systems.

If we receive credible abuse reports, we may suspend the service after notice, or immediately in cases that risk harm to others.

Resource limits are set by the plan you choose. If your usage exceeds those limits, we will ask you to upgrade or reduce usage. Persistent overuse may lead to throttling or suspension.

SSL certificates are issued by the issuing certification authority under its certification practice statement. You must prove control of the domain or organization as requested before the certificate is enrolled.

Renewals and expiry

Renew on time. Expired domains are expensive to recover.

Domain registrations run for the term you choose. We send renewal notices before expiry, but the responsibility to renew sits with the registrant.

If a domain expires and is not renewed during the auto-renew grace period, it may enter a redemption or restore state. Restoring a domain from this state is significantly more expensive than renewing it on time, sometimes many times the registration price. The exact restore fee for each TLD is listed in our price list when the storefront publishes it.

The registrar follows ICANN's Expired Registration Recovery Policy (ERRP). This includes at least two renewal notices before expiry and one notice after deletion if the domain is deleted. The notices go to the registrant email address listed in the official contact information, so keeping that address current is essential.

Pricing honesty

Renewal and registration prices are shown at the same size.

We will not show a large promotional price and hide the renewal price in smaller type. On every product page where a price appears, the renewal price is displayed at the same type size as the first-term price. This is one of the most common dark patterns in the domain industry, and we refuse it.

Prices are generated from a dated snapshot of our upstream provider's price list. The snapshot date is shown wherever prices are used, and the build will fail rather than ship stale numbers. We do not query pricing live on page views because that would slow the site and create a dependency we do not need.

Transfers

Domain transfers are explained in full.

Transferring a domain to Web Fortuners requires an auth code from your current registrar, a transfer lock removed, and a confirmed registrant email address. There are also ICANN-mandated 60-day locks after initial registration and after certain registrant changes. The full transfer process and failure modes are documented on the transfer page.

Studio services

Websites, brands, engineering and AI, under a written scope.

Studio services are the engagements we deliver under the four pillars: AI and intelligent systems, design and brand, engineering, and growth. Every engagement starts with a written scope: what we will deliver, the timeline, and the price. The scope is the agreement for that engagement; these terms sit underneath it.

Quotes are fixed for the scope they describe. Work outside the scope is quoted and approved before it starts, never billed after the fact.

Payment terms are set in the scope. Work usually begins on receipt of the first milestone payment, and invoices are payable within 14 days unless the scope says otherwise.

You own the deliverables on full payment: the code, the designs and the content we produce for you, in your repositories and on your infrastructure. Until full payment, deliverables remain ours. We may show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to in writing.

You give us timely access, content and decisions. Timelines assume all three; a delayed input moves the delivery date by the same amount.

Third-party costs (domains, hosting, licences, advertising spend, API usage) are either billed to you directly by their providers or passed through at cost with your approval. They are never marked up silently.

Our liability for studio services is limited to the fees you have paid for the engagement that gives rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Either side can end an engagement with 14 days written notice. You pay for work delivered to date, and we hand over everything completed.

Refunds and cancellations

Read the full refund policy.

The refund and cancellation rules for every product are in the refund policy. If you need to cancel an order or request a refund, start there.
