Booking transport at the edge of the Arctic

Shuttle runs airport transfers, private point-to-point trips, group logistics and guided tours in Nuuk, the capital of Greenland. Almost everybody booking is either arriving by air on a schedule they cannot move, or coming ashore from a cruise ship with a few hours in port. Neither has the patience to work out how a website is organised.

So the site is split by the job rather than by the vehicle. Airport transfer, point to point, groups, the city tour and the UTV backcountry run each get their own page, which means a search for a specific thing lands on that thing and nobody has to translate what they want into a category we invented. Booking sits in the header as the one permanent call to action, and it runs on the site itself rather than handing the customer to a marketplace, so the transaction and the relationship both stay with Shuttle.

Behind the consumer flow is a second audience the site has to serve without confusing the first: travel agencies, cruise operators and local partners buying capacity rather than a seat. That gets a separate route through the site, a partner enquiry instead of a checkout, because a ship’s worth of transfers is a conversation and not a cart.

The rest is trust building of a kind specific to a town this small. There are pages for the fleet and for the people who drive it, and an FAQ that answers what a cautious operator actually asks: how pricing is worked out, what a custom itinerary involves, and who insures the vehicles. The site runs in English and Danish, matching an audience split between visitors and residents.
